Chapter 17: Liam

Did Riley just bite my lip?

Okay, there’s no way she’s getting away with that.

As punishment for biting me, I smack her curvy ass with the palm of my hand, drawing out a shocked moan from somewhere deep down inside her chest.

I’m not sure exactly what’s going on right now. Clearly, I’m not in my right mind. But as soon as Riley makes that fucking noise, I know for a fact there’s no going back.

And that’s why half a second later, Riley’s slung over my shoulder and I’m heading down the hallway to the bedroom.

“What are you doing?” she asks between heavy, turned-on breaths as I wrap an arm around the back of Riley’s knees.

“Finishing what you started,” I say, stepping into the room and throwing Riley onto the bed.

“You started it,” she said, her face neon fucking pink as she stares up at me from the mattress. Her legs are squirming like she’s trying to start a fire between them, and a million expressions flash behind her eyes as she watches me peel my shirt off.

“You know, now that I think about it,” I say, undoing the buckle of my belt, “There were a couple of times this past week when you were acting like this. So you definitely started it, and I guess I’m just going to have to make you admit it.”

Biting her lip, she shakes her head, “No I wasn’t. You must have just been fantasizing about me like the pervert you are.”

Instantly, my hands freeze on the belt buckle. My nostrils flare. I look right into Riley’s eyes.

“I think we should find out who the real pervert is.”

Then, belt hanging open at the waist of my jeans, I walk over to the three windows that dominate the bedroom wall and pull the blinds down, one by one, until the only light in the room is the setting sun shining through them.

And once we’re shielded from the outside world, I walk up to the edge of the mattress, reach out, and rest my hand at the very bottom of Riley’s bare thigh, right above her knee.

“Anything you want to do about this? I’m not moving it unless you do. After all, I’m not a pervert.”

Riley glares at me, staying still for a couple seconds to try and call my bluff. But the longer my hand presses into her flesh, the more I can feel her heating up.

And she’s not the only one. My cock feels like it’s about to fucking explode the second I touch her, but I can’t let that stop me from proving my point. If she wants this so bad, she’s going to have to make the next move.

And at first, Riley’s as stubborn as ever. She crosses her arms, looks down at my hand on her thigh, and swallows hard, trying to look disinterested as she flips me off.

For almost a whole minute, she holds her ground, which is impressive, except for the fact that she doesn’t take my hand off her skin either.
